This opportunity is perfect if you're considering a midlife career change. While prior instructing experience isn’t required, a professional attitude, strong people skills, and a drive to learn are essential. We’ll provide full training and support you through becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

    • Instructors typically operate within a 30-minute radius of home, covering approximately 6-8 postcodes, maximising teaching time and reducing travel.
  • Earn While You Train

    • Once you pass Part 2 of the DVSA exam, you can obtain a trainee licence. This lets you start teaching and earning immediately while completing Part 3.
  • Full Training & Ongoing Support Our new Training Academy provides structured guidance through DVSA Parts 1, 2, and 3, including:

    • Flexible online learning for preparing lesson theory
    • In-car coaching to develop driving and instructing skills

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, you must meet the following DVSA criteria:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years
  • Have no more than 5 penalty points on your licence
  • No driving bans within the last 5 years
  • Embody reliability, patience, and confidence in working with others
