Are you a talented mental health clinician with expertise and experience in Drug and Alcohol work?
Are you interested in working with an outstanding Trust to develop and deliver community treatment in mental health?
We are seeking to recruit a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker to join the Adult Community Mental Health Service (ACMHS) Dacorum, in North West Hertfordshire. The office is based in Hemel Hempstead, the largest town in the Dacorum area.

The Successful Candidate Will
- work with care co-ordinators and 35 - 40 service users, depending on complexity and other responsibilities
- carry out drug and alcohol misuse assessment including assessment of personal strengths and recovery capital, and risks
- develop recovery plans using a person-centred approach to develop, implement and evaluate needs and strengths-based care plans and risk management plans in partnership with service users, carers and other professionals
- provide Individual brief assessment one-to-one and group interventions
