We are currently looking for a Drying Facility Specialist to join our Cultivation team in St. Johns, Florida! The Drying Technician is responsible for supporting the critical drying phase of the cannabis cultivation process. This includes monitoring environmental conditions in the dry room, assisting with the proper hanging and spacing of harvested plants, and transporting fully dried products to the trimming department. The Drying Technician collaborates closely with the cultivation team to maintain a clean and organized grow environment while adhering to company protocols, safety standards, and strict compliance with state and local cannabis regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist with receiving and organizing harvested plants in the drying room according to strain, batch, and harvest date. Hang plants carefully on drying racks or lines to ensure proper airflow and prevent mold or uneven drying. Monitor drying room conditions, including temperature, humidity, and airflow, and report deviations to Management. Document dry room activity such as plant batch placement, dates, and movement using internal logs or state tracking systems (e.g., Biotrack or METRC). Inspect plants during the drying process for signs of mold, over-drying, or contamination. Assist in determining when plants have reached optimal dryness using moisture content checks or feel tests per company SOPs. Gently remove dried plants from racks and prepare them for transfer to the trimming team, ensuring product integrity is maintained. Transport dried material to the trim room while maintaining accurate tracking and batch integrity. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized dry room environment to prevent contamination and ensure compliance. Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures during post-harvest handling. Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure. Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 21 years of age or older. Ability to pass drug testing and a Level 2 Florida State background check. Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor environmental conditions and perform repetitive tasks accurately. Ability to follow written SOPs and maintain accurate documentation. Payrate: $14
