Job Title: Drylining Design Coordinator

Location: Remote / UK or Overseas

Trade: Drylining / Interior Fit-Out / Plasterboard Systems

Rate: £120 per day, based on days worked

Role Type: Remote contract / part-time technical coordination support

Key Requirement: Must have working knowledge of UK drylining manufacturer systems, particularly Siniat, British Gypsum and Knauf

Important: This is a design coordination and technical support role. It is not a full drylining design role.

About the Role

LLC Group is looking for a knowledgeable Drylining Design Coordinator to support our UK pre-construction team with drawing reviews, specification checks, manufacturer coordination and drylining system queries.

This role is suitable for someone with strong drylining design knowledge, but the successful candidate will not be expected to produce full drylining designs from scratch. The role is to review information, coordinate technical queries, check system suitability, identify design gaps and help the team make informed decisions.

You will support the link between our internal team, clients, architects, consultants and manufacturers. The focus is on understanding drylining systems, reviewing drawings and specifications, raising technical issues, coordinating with manufacturers and providing clear advice to the UK team.

This is a remote contract / part-time support role paid at £120 per day, based on days worked. The expected workload will depend on project requirements and will be agreed in advance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The candidate does not need to be based in the UK. However, they must have strong working knowledge of UK drylining systems and manufacturer requirements, particularly systems from Siniat, British Gypsum and Knauf.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review drawings, specifications and drylining system information
  • Coordinate technical queries between the UK team, clients, architects, consultants and manufacturers
  • Provide technical advice on partitions, ceilings, linings, fire-rated systems, acoustic requirements and finishing details
  • Check whether proposed systems align with project requirements and manufacturer guidance
  • Identify design gaps, missing information, specification issues, clashes and buildability concerns
  • Review manufacturer details, data sheets, test evidence and system requirements
  • Liaise with manufacturers such as Siniat, British Gypsum, Knauf and similar suppliers where required
  • Provide clear technical notes, comments and recommendations
  • Support the Pre-Construction Manager during tenders, project planning and technical reviews
  • Assist with procurement by reviewing the technical suitability of materials and drylining systems
  • Attend Microsoft Teams calls when required
  • Keep technical information, trackers, comments and records organised

Essential Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of drylining systems and interior fit-out
  • Good drylining design knowledge, with the ability to review and coordinate information rather than produce full designs
  • Working knowledge of UK drylining manufacturer systems, especially Siniat, British Gypsum and Knauf
  • Good understanding of metal stud partitions, plasterboard linings, ceilings, shaft walls and associated details
  • Understanding of fire-rated partitions, acoustic performance, board types, framing systems and typical specification requirements
  • Able to read and review drawings, specifications and technical documents
  • Able to identify missing information, unsuitable systems and coordination issues
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Confident joining Microsoft Teams calls with a UK-based team
  • Organised, reliable and proactive when working remotely

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience working for a drylining subcontractor, manufacturer, consultant, technical team or design coordination team
  • Experience reviewing manufacturer test evidence, system datasheets or specification clauses
  • Knowledge of UK construction terminology and drylining package coordination
  • Experience supporting tenders, RFIs, technical submissions or procurement reviews

Important Note

This is a design coordination and technical support role, not a role producing full drylining designs from scratch. The successful candidate must be able to understand drylining design information, coordinate technical queries, review system suitability and provide practical advice to the team.

Applicants without experience of UK drylining systems such as Siniat, British Gypsum or Knauf are unlikely to be suitable.
