Role Description

The Drylining Subcontractor role is a contract, remote position responsible for executing high-quality drylining work on assigned construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Estimating materials and labor for drylining activities

The subcontractor will install and finish drylining systems, including partitions, ceilings, and wall linings, while adhering to relevant building codes and safety standards. The role also involves:

  • Maintaining clear communication with the Amtaargc team
  • Documenting progress
  • Reporting any issues or variations
  • Ensuring that work is completed on time, within agreed budgets, and to the company’s quality standards

Qualifications

  • Solid drylining and interior finishing skills, including installation of partitions, ceilings, and wall linings, and familiarity with related tools and materials.
  • Skills in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents, and in basic layout and measurement.
  • Strong knowledge of construction-site safety practices, relevant building codes, and quality control standards.
  • Reliable project coordination skills, including scheduling, time management, and clear communication with project managers and site teams.
  • Practical experience working as a subcontractor or tradesperson in commercial or residential construction environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote capacity, including managing documentation, reporting, and digital communication tools.
  • Relevant trade certifications, licenses, or apprenticeships in construction or drywall/drylining disciplines are beneficial.
  • Access to suitable tools, equipment, and transportation to job sites, and eligibility to work in the applicable region, are required.
