Role Description

The Drywall Site Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Leeds, responsible for overseeing drywall and related fit-out works on active construction projects. The role includes managing daily site operations, coordinating drywall teams and subcontractors, monitoring progress against project plans, and ensuring works are delivered on time, within scope, and to required quality standards. The Drywall Site Manager will enforce health and safety procedures, conduct regular site inspections, and maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and suppliers. Day-to-day tasks also involve reading and interpreting drawings, organising materials and logistics, resolving site issues, and documenting site activity through reports and updates. The role requires proactive leadership to support team members, uphold MSC’s values, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Proven experience in drywall, drylining, or interior fit-out site management, including supervision of trades on active construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and sequencing of drywall installation and finishing activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan daily and weekly site activities, manage resources, and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe systems of work on construction sites.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with project teams, clients, and site personnel at all levels.
  • Capability to identify and resolve technical and logistical issues promptly, maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  • Experience maintaining site records, progress reports, and documentation to support project delivery and compliance.
  • Leadership skills that promote teamwork, support skills development, and reflect MSC’s values of excellence and integrity.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing site conditions and project demands while maintaining client-focused service.
