Are you a practical, organised and creative individual who enjoys supporting young people to achieve their best?
We are seeking an enthusiastic DT & Art Technician to join our friendly and successful school team at Aureus.
Your Opportunity
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing materials and equipment for lessons
- Maintaining workshops and studios
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met
- Helping to create an inspiring learning environment where creativity can flourish
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational skills
- A proactive approach
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Experience of working with tools, machinery, art materials or in an educational setting would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

The Details
- Start Date: September 2026
- Salary: Associate 2.1 £23,914 FTE (actual Salary £11,143)
- Hours: 19.5 hours a week, to be worked as 3 x 6.5 hour days (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday)
- Contract: Permanent, term time only
- Closing Date: 15th July 2026 at 9.30am
- Interview Date: TBC
