DT Teacher - Wells (full-time)

A school in Wells is looking for a DT teacher until the end of the academic year starting immediately, pay rate is £140 - £170 per day.

Any applicant will be required to have a full QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Roles and responsibilities Designing and delivering lessons that are practical , theory-rich and aligned with the national curriculum, preparing students for exams as well as managing a safe and fully resourced workshop environment. Provide assessment and evaluation, keeping clear records of achievement and discuss difficulties with students and parents to ensure that all students are supported and progressing in their learning. You will be responsible for safeguarding students and provide support to students who may require additional help or guidance. Responsible for the induction, supervision and direction of other adults and colleagues working in the classroom, providing appropriate leadership and guidance regarding their role.
