What We’re Looking For
Core Responsibilities

Technical excellence – installing, exchanging, commissioning, removing, and maintaining metering systems, related hardware, and communication networks for electric and gas.

Safety first: Compliance with all health and safety, metering standards, and company procedures.

Customer interactions: Friendly, professional visits—reflecting Yü’s values at every step.

Ownership & accountability:
-
Manage stock, tools, and assigned company vehicle with care.

Elite roles (optional):
- Conduct friendly debt resolution visits.
- Alternate between site engineer and Warrant Officer support (never solo).

Non-Elite (Dual-Fuel): Duties strictly limited to metering installations, exchanges, and maintenance.

Collaboration: Work with peers and managers to meet team performance targets.

Development mindset: Embrace training and mentoring to grow your skills.
Requirements
- Experience as a Smart Metering Dual Fuel Engineer.
- NVQ CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 certification (or equivalent).
- UK Driving Licence (validity preferred).
- UK Right to Work.
- DBS check (mandatory).
