As we grow through securing new contracts and fostering long-term client relationships, we are seeking to expand our team with skilled Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers on a permanent basis.

Purpose of the Role

As a Smart Meter Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and exchanging gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes
  • Provision of a first-class aftercare service, including:
    • A comprehensive demonstration for customers on using their new meter
    • Repairing and maintaining meters post-installation

Salary & Benefits

Salary Bands

  • Banding A (Dual Fuel Engineer): £39,923 per annum
  • Banding B (3 Phase / Medium Pressure): £41,571 per annum
  • OTE for Dual Fuel-Only Engineers: £48–£53k (uncapped)
  • Additional performance bonus available
  • Weekly meter fit bonus scheme
  • £60 per month lunch expenses

Qualifications & Key Skills Required

Essential

  • MET1
  • CCN1/CMA1/CMA3
  • Single phase electric qualification
  • MOCOPA (1a & 1c)
  • REGT1 and polyphase electric (desirable but not essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters
  • Familiarity with 3 Phase / single-off multi is an advantage
