Job Description

About the Role

Our Dual Fuel Engineers are a vital part of our business and hold the highest quality technical skills, are team players, and focused on delivering the best customer experience.

We are looking for skilled and motivated Dual Fuel Smart Metering Engineers to join our growing field team. You’ll be responsible for the safe installation, exchange, and maintenance of smart metering systems in customers’ homes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

We are offering great earning potentials:

  • Direct engineers - £52K OTE (£60K inside M25)
  • Subcontractors - £70K OTE (£80K inside M25)

(Based on completing 3 duals a day and 1 single fuel)

We are looking for Subcontractors and Direct engineers to join our team in the following postcode areas:

  • North West & Yorkshire: LS, CA
  • North East - HU
  • East Midlands - LN (1 in 4 weeks on-call required)
  • Home Counties: RH, DA (1, 5-8, 14-18)
  • South West & Wales: TA
  • South East: SS
  • London: E, SW (SW10, SW3, W8, SW7,SW1, SW5,SW6,W2,W11,W14,W10,W9,W6)
  • Scotland: AB, IV

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, exchange, and commission Dual Fuel (Gas & Electric) Smart Meters
  • Complete all work in line with industry regulations and safety standard
  • Deliver outstanding customer service on every visit
  • Diagnose and resolve meter faults
  • Maintain accurate records using handheld devices
  • Work efficiently to meet daily targets while prioritising safety

Requirements

  • Previous Dual Fuel experience within the past 12 months
  • CCN1 / CMA1 / 3 & MET1 qualifications with at least 6 months remaining
  • MOCoP accreditation
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A positive, professional approach and commitment to safety
