DUN - 1202 - Bank Dietician

Dietician |Oncology-Cancer Care| Private hospital | Bank- Flexible working |Dunedin, Reading

 Join Spire Dunedin Hospital as a Bank Dietitian and play a vital role in delivering best-practice, patient-centred cancer care. Using your specialist oncology expertise, you'll help improve treatment outcomes, enhance patient wellbeing, and provide evidence-based nutritional support as part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team

Spire Dunedin Hospital has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years, as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading, the hospital has two theatres, 16 inpatient beds, three recovery bays, Oncology services and an Endoscopy Suite

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To manage complex nutritional needs in cancer patients. 
  • Improved treatment outcomes 
  • Management of treatment side effects 
  • Prevention and management of malnutrition 
  • Support across the cancer pathway 
  • Patient education and quality of life

 Who we're looking for:

  • A degree in Dietetics or Nutrition 
  • Current HCPC registration  
  • Recognised accredited Programme: Completion of a dietetic internship or a supervised practise  
  • Proven experience in oncology, it would be advantageous to have private healthcare experience
