Duty Catering Manager – Kettering

40 Hours Per Week

£34,702 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Catering Manager to support the launch and day-to-day operation of a brand-new catering facility at Amazon in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

About The Role

As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily catering operations, leading teams on shift, maintaining high service standards, and supporting the overall success of the site. You will work closely with the General Catering Manager to deliver an outstanding dining experience for customers and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of daily catering operations across the site.
  • Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Assist with staffing, training, and team development.
  • Monitor compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
  • Support stock control, ordering, and cost management.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Act as the site lead during designated shifts and in the absence of senior management.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous supervisory or management experience within catering, hospitality, retail, or food service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
  • Good understanding of food safety and health & safety requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, high-volume environment.
