Duty Coordinator

Are you organised, versatile and have an eye for detail and do you want to make a difference to others? If yes, then this could be the job for you!

We are looking for a Duty Coordinator to join the Joint Community Rehabilitation (JCR) Service.

You will be a member of the Duty team, offering advice and support to the people we assist, as well as to your colleagues and other professionals.

You will also triage referrals into our service, deal with a variety of queries, and provide a comprehensive handover to your colleagues.

In addition, you would be supporting the service by providing awareness sessions and overseeing quality in a key service area, e.g. nutrition and hydration.

Working predominantly Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm, this role is vital to providing a high quality, effective service.

You do not need to have any previous experience in health and social care as we will provide extensive training.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • The ability to prioritise different responsibilities

JCR is a community service provided by a team of care workers and therapists. It is a partnership between East Sussex County Council’s Adult Social Care and East Sussex Healthcare Trust.

We help people remain in their own homes and stay independent by providing them with a time-limited intensive community rehabilitation programme in their own home.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
