Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse operations, resource allocations and customer service within the branch, including line management responsibility for the General Assistant team
- Ensure all areas of the warehouse always conform to Health and Safety legislation
- Work to deliver a balanced performance across key business metrics and KPI measures in line with business goals and objectives
- Ensure the branch remains fully compliant with branch standards to maintain a balanced performance
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to create the skills and capabilities needed now and for the future
- Hold regular colleague reviews to strengthen colleague engagement and support development
- Work with the Operations Manager to create a robust succession plan throughout the branch
- Ensure branch recruitment is accurate and effective, attracting future talent to the organisation
- Deliver a structured daily briefing to ensure all colleagues understand key objectives and measures

Hours: Average of 44 hours per week:
- Monday to Friday: 8am – 6pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 8am – 4pm
Skills And Experience
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to develop customer and colleague relationships
- Experience in leading a warehouse operations team with a customer-first attitude
- Knowledge of recruitment processes
- Familiarity with POLines (P L’s) and the booking of in and out stock
- Strong ability to highlight and resolve Health and Safety concerns
- Ability to review, challenge, and develop colleagues to achieve their best performance
