The Role

As our Duty Manager, you’ll oversee the hotel and ensure everything runs smoothly during your shift. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests and staff, handling any issues with professionalism and care, while keeping operations seamless across all departments.

What You’ll Do

  • Take responsibility for hotel operations during your shift.
  • Be the go-to person for guest queries, requests, and problem resolution.
  • Support and guide the front office and wider hotel team.
  • Monitor safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Liaise with other departments to keep service standards high.
  • Provide clear handovers and updates for the management team.

The Person

As well as having previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role, you’re confident, approachable, and guest-focused. You stay calm under pressure, lead by example, and make sound decisions on the spot. You know hotel operations inside out, are comfortable using systems and reports, and enjoy supporting your team to deliver excellent service every time.
