Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee warehouse operations, resource management, and customer service within the branch, including line management responsibility for the General Assistant team
  • Ensure all areas comply with Health and Safety legislation
  • Drive balanced performance across key business metrics and KPIs aligned with business goals
  • Maintain branch compliance with established standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams, fostering skills and future readiness
  • Conduct regular colleague reviews to enhance engagement and development support
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to create a succession plan for the branch
  • Ensure branch recruitment attracts the right talent consistently
  • Deliver structured daily briefings to clarify objectives and performance measures
  • Average schedule: 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am–6pm); alternate Saturdays (8am–4pm)
