The Duty Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at our Bristol facility, ensuring the seamless delivery of services and a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising staff and managing operational procedures
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Addressing onsite issues promptly and effectively
  • Supporting the overall success of the facility

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol.


Requirements

  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage daily operations and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance standards and experience in implementing related procedures
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with both staff and members of the public
  • Experience in the leisure or health and fitness industry is advantageous but not essential

Essential Qualifications

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, First Aid qualification, Pool Plant Operator & IOSH qualifications are required for this role, or the willingness to obtain certification while in the position.

  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and the use of IT systems is desirable.
