The Duty Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at our Bristol facility, ensuring the seamless delivery of services and a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Supervising staff and managing operational procedures
- Maintaining health and safety standards
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Addressing onsite issues promptly and effectively
- Supporting the overall success of the facility
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol.
Requirements
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage daily operations and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance standards and experience in implementing related procedures
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with both staff and members of the public
- Experience in the leisure or health and fitness industry is advantageous but not essential

Essential Qualifications
A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, First Aid qualification, Pool Plant Operator & IOSH qualifications are required for this role, or the willingness to obtain certification while in the position.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and the use of IT systems is desirable.
