About the Role
We are recruiting for a Duty Manager to work in our vibrant DoubleTree by Hilton London Angel Kings Cross.

Branch & Location
DoubleTree by Hilton London Angel Kings Cross (Near Angel Tube Station (5-minute walk) and Kings Cross St. Pancras Rail Station (15-minute walk)).
An ideal base for exploring London’s iconic spots, including the West End theatre district, Camden Market, Islington Museum, and sports at Emirates Stadium (Arsenal FC).

The Responsibilities
Your key duties will include:

Guest Engagement & First Impressions:
- Greet, converse with, and assist guests—especially VIPs, long-stay guests, and corporate clients in the lobby.
- Set the tone for exceptional hospitality from the first encounter.

Customer Complaints & Issue Resolution:
- Listen, document, and resolve guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow up on management/legal issues to encourage trust and service improvements.

Special Services Delivery:
- Oversee facilities for long-stay guests, VIPs, and corporate functions, including managing credit procedures.

Hotel & Procedural Awareness:
- Stay informed about products, services, policies, and emergency protocols.
- Conduct health & safety drills (e.g. fire drills, food safety audits) as required.

- Guest Satisfaction & Performance Improvement:
- Review and analyse guest feedback reports to address concerns and enhance service standards.
Requirements
We are looking for a passionate candidate who embodies:
- A genuine and friendly personality to put guests at ease.
- A positive attitude and the ability to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to take initiative.
- Confidence in calm and efficient workflows—inclusive of busy peak times/weddings.
- Excellent communication & grooming standards to maintain professionalism.
- Experience of working in morning/afternoon/evening shifts and weekends.
- An hunger for growth—proven ambitious and hardworking in roles.
