Duty Manager
Duty Manager, Malmaison – Manchester (Permanent Full-Time)
Role Overview
In this hands-on Duty Manager position at Malmaison Hotel, you’ll support the smooth operation of all customer-facing departments, including Food & Beverage (F&B) and Front Office, while progressing from Junior Head of Department (HoD) to Senior HoD and beyond.

About the Role
You will assist in overseeing key operations, from managing breakfast service and handling check-out periods to collaborating with Housekeeping on room inspections. Experience in guest relations and awareness of local trends is helpful.

Responsibilities
- Work across F&B and Front Office teams to ensure seamless service across all customer-facing departments
- Oversee breakfast service, manage busy check-out periods, and assist with housekeeping duties
- Support guest relations and ensure collection of feedback to maintain high standards
- Cultivate an understanding of current local trends and client expectations
- Progress from Junior HoD to Senior HoD with opportunities for DGM promotions within the group

Requirements
- Proven experience as a JuniorHoD or equivalent in a busy Food & Beverage department
- Strong managerial skills with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction
