About the Role
This is a diverse, engaging, and dynamic role as a Duty Manager.
You’ll manage and lead a team, encompassing the following key responsibilities:
- Recruiting, training, and overseeing staff performance
- Addressing customer concerns effectively
- Driving up memberships and community participation
- Preparing reports, attending management meetings
- Representing Places Leisure with professionalism
- Ensuring the efficient operation of the centre
You’ll require flexibility, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays. If you’re a motivated and responsible individual, you’re the ideal candidate to play a leadership role in thriving our centre.

About You
- As a team manager, prior experience in a supervisory/management position, particularly within a leisure environment, is highly desirable.
- You will undergo training to become a registered first aider (first aid experience is an advantage).
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills are essential.
- Completion of an NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) is mandatory for this role.
