Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse operations, resource management, and customer service within the branch, including line management of the General Assistant team.
- Ensure all warehouse areas comply with Health and Safety legislation.
- Drive and sustain balanced performance across key business metrics and KPIs aligned with business goals.
- Maintain full branch compliance to branch standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to cultivate the necessary skills and capabilities for future success.
- Conduct regular colleague reviews to foster engagement and support professional development.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop a robust succession plan within the branch.
- Ensure effective recruitment by attracting high-quality talent for future growth.
- Deliver a structured daily briefing to keep all colleagues aligned on key objectives and performance measures.

Working Hours:
- Average of 44 hours/week
- Monday–Friday: 8am–6pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 8am–4pm
Skills and Experience
- Proven communication skills to build strong customer and colleague relationships.
- Experience in leading warehouse operations with a customer-first mindset.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes and stock control (PLs, in/out bookings).
- Strong ability to identify and resolve Health & Safety concerns.
- Skilled in reviewing teams, challenging colleagues, and supporting development to achieve performance goals.
