Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse operations, resources, and customer service, including line management of the General Assistant team.
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety legislation across warehouse operations.
- Steer performance towards key business metrics and KPIs aligned with business goals.
- Maintain branch compliance with internal standards for a balanced performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to build current and future skills.
- Conduct regular colleague reviews to boost engagement and support growth.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to create a robust succession plan.
- Ensure successful recruitment to attract future talent.
- Deliver a structured daily briefing to align teammates with key objectives.
- Work hours: Average of 44 hours/week (Mon–Fri: 8am–6pm; alternate Saturdays: 8am–4pm).

Skills & Experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build customer and colleague relationships.
- Experience leading warehouse teams with a customer-first mindset.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes.
- Familiarity with Purchase Ledgers (PLs) and stock booking (in/out).
- Exceptional Health and Safety awareness to identify and resolve concerns.
- Coaching and mentoring ability to challenge, develop team members, and drive performance.
