Responsibilities
Core Duties
You’ll manage pharmacy operations, ensure quality customer care, and drive team empowerment by:
- Supplying prescriptions, delivering both NHS and private healthcare services, and providing expert health advice to customers.
- Leading Tesco’s charity support program, offering guidance to individuals affected by cancer, heart disease, or diabetes.
- Assisting the Pharmacy Manager in:
- Leading, training, and developing pharmacy staff.
- Developing relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
- Enforcing accurate NHS payment claims for prescribed items.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Security, Replenishment, Administration) to ensure safety and service consistency.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Registration
- A valid Pharmacy Degree.
- Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme (supported by the employer).
- Passing a DBS check (pre-employment).
