Job Title: DV Cleared Infrastructure Architect

Location: Basingstoke

X5 days per week

Duration:

Initially until 31st May 2027 with possible extension

Rate:

Up to £500 per day via an approved umbrella company

Must be willing and eligible to go through the DV vetting process

Our client, a reputable organisation, is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Architect to join their dynamic, multi-disciplinary agile team in Basingstoke. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large scale, secure infrastructure projects, working closely with senior stakeholders and third-party providers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborate within a multi-skilled agile team, sharing knowledge and tackling diverse challenges
  • Lead the delivery of technical proposals aligned with the client's vision, ensuring seamless integration and delivery
  • Engage with senior customer stakeholders to define and elaborate infrastructure requirements
  • Manage third-party requests and change processes, maintaining the integrity of architectural solutions
  • Ensure infrastructure designs meet security standards and support resilient, high-availability environments
  • Support the deployment of production implementations, overseeing service transition activities
  • Work closely with various teams to foster collaboration and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

  • Strong client facing skills, capable of communicating effectively with senior executives
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing secure, resilient, large scale infrastructure solutions
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients to define infrastructure needs
  • Experience delivering successful production implementations and managing service transitions
  • Knowledge of security standards compliance in infrastructure design
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows systems administration, including configuration via GPO, PowerShell, WMI, and patching mechanisms
