Job Title: DV Cleared PMO Manager

Location: Basingstoke
Onsite: X5 days onsite with hybrid options TBC

Duration: Until 31st May with possible extension

Rate: Up to £550 per day via an approved umbrella company

Requirement: Must be willing and eligible to go through DV clearance process

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for programme governance and delivery? Our client, a reputable organisation supporting critical Defence projects, is hiring for a PMO Manager to oversee their Project Management Office. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to high-stakes programmes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the PMO team
  • Provide comprehensive governance, financial, resource, and delivery reports
  • Support programme planning, delivery reviews, and assurance activities
  • Oversee RAID logs, change, decision, and action registers
  • Manage resource planning, forecasting, and financial controls including invoicing and budgeting
  • Drive process improvements and standardisation across the programme
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual and organisational standards
  • Support large-scale transformation and complex Defence programmes, working within Agile and Waterfall methodologies
