The Opportunity
I'm currently working with a well-established Microsoft Solutions Partner that has been helping manufacturers and distributors transform their businesses for many years. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Lead Consultant / Project Lead to join their highly successful Business Central team.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of complex, end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, leading projects from initial design through to successful deployment. You'll work closely with customers to deliver tailored ERP solutions while mentoring consultants and driving best practice across project delivery.
Working within a collaborative and people-focused consultancy, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, influence solution design and play a key role in delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects.
- Take ownership of project planning, delivery, scope, budgets and timelines.
- Design and architect Business Central solutions that meet customer business requirements.
- Lead functional workshops and translate business processes into effective ERP solutions.
- Manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Delegate work effectively across the consultancy team while mentoring and supporting junior consultants.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Promote best practice implementation methodologies and continuous improvement across the Business Central team.
- Support customers through deployment, go-live, and post-implementation activities where required.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience leading full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Experience managing project plans, budgets, resources, and delivery schedules.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing consultants.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced consultancy environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a customer-first approach.

Desirable Skills
- Experience working within a Microsoft Partner or ERP consultancy environment.
- Industry experience within manufacturing and distribution sectors.
- Knowledge of Business Central architecture and solution design.
- Experience delivering complex ERP transformation projects.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving customer requirements.
- Microsoft certifications within Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous.
