Dynamics 365 CE Technical Architect

Fulltime - Permanent role
Homebased - must be in the UK
No sponsorship can be offered - must be eligible for SC Clearance

About the Role

As a Technical Architect, you will lead solution design, provide technical leadership, and drive innovation across complex Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform implementations. You will work closely with stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and project teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture and design of Dynamics 365 CE solutions across Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, Marketing and Field Service.
  • Design and implement end-to-end solutions leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Architect integrations between Dynamics 365 and external applications using Azure Integration Services.
  • Define technical standards, governance, and best practices across projects.
  • Drive the adoption of Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities within customer solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership to development teams and mentor junior consultants.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, technical workshops, and client-facing presentations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Ensure solutions align with Microsoft best practices, security standards, and scalability requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Technical Architect within Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
  • Strong expertise across: Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Marketing/Customer Insights, Field Service
  • Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages
  • Dataverse
  • Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled business solutions.
  • Strong Azure integration experience including: Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid
  • Experience designing complex systems integration architectures.
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, security models, and performance optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience with C#,.NET, JavaScript, and custom development within Dynamics 365.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
