Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position Hybrid (2-3 days on site in CGI Nottingham office and/or DVSA Nottingham Office) (expenses not rechargeable to client), can also be from our Birmingham/Bristol offices.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms that underpin critical business services for our public sector client. You'll investigate and resolve incidents, maintain platform security, support deployments, and ensure service continuity across multiple Dynamics 365 modules. Working closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and delivery partners, you'll take ownership of complex issues, contribute to continuous service improvements, and help deliver secure, high-quality solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

You'll also play an important role in release management, supporting Microsoft platform updates, reviewing security changes, and ensuring smooth deployments across non-production and production environments. Your expertise will help maintain service reliability while contributing to the ongoing evolution of CGI's digital capabilities for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate & Resolve incidents across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Business Central and Field Service within agreed SLAs.
- Troubleshoot & Analyse functional, technical and data-related issues to restore service quickly and effectively.
- Manage & Escalate complex issues to development teams and third-line support where appropriate.
- Support & Secure Dynamics environments by responding to security incidents and reviewing security-related platform updates.
- Deploy & Release application changes through non-production and production environments.
- Collaborate & Improve by participating in Agile ceremonies, release handovers and retrospectives.
- Monitor & Optimise integrations between Dynamics 365, Azure and AWS services.
- Build Relationships with stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
To succeed in this role, you'll bring proven experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions within an application support environment, alongside strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. You'll be comfortable working in Agile delivery teams, have a proactive approach to problem solving, and be passionate about delivering secure, high-quality services while building trusted relationships with colleagues and clients.
Essential Qualifications
- Good experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement, Business Central and Field Service).
- Experience working within application support, service desk or managed service environments.
- Understanding of application security principles and security incident management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting integrations involving Azure and AWS cloud services.
- Experience deploying releases across non-production and production environments.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks and ceremonies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
