Dynamics Finance & Operations Architect
Location
Flexible / Hybrid
- London: £70,400 to £96,798 per annum
- National: £64,044 to £88,060 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week – flexible options considered Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join our team—Retail and Employment Awards Winner 2025 (Housing Heroes)—as a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Architect.
If you hold the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert certification or have equivalent experience, this could be your next career move.
You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions, transforming business problems into robust technical solutions tailored to organisational needs. This covers development, deployment, and ongoing support of the platform along with associated services.
This is a hands-on technical delivery role, so not only will you conceptualise solutions but also implement and manage them. You’ll collaborate closely with lead technical consultants and functional consultants to deliver high-quality solutions—ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy high-performance Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations systems.
- Ensure technical alignment with business requirements and operational needs.
- Develop expertise in X++ development and ensure robust integration with third-party applications.
- Work as part of a team to advise and mentor colleagues, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
- Ensure high standards of quality in application delivery.
- Provide ongoing support for troubleshooting and system optimisation.
- Maintain a methodical and organised approach in solution design and implementation.
- Assess requirements and propose innovative technical solutions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrated substantial experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.
- Venue knowledge and any hands-on experience with X++ considered essential.
- Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills for complex business challenges.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration with internal teams (functional consultants, delivery leads, and developers).
- Certification in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert Preferred (but not mandatory if equivalent experience is provided).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate technical solutions to stakeholders.
