E-Assessment Support Officer
Salary: £28,995 - £29,700 per annum (Grade 4) Contract type: Full-time (36.5 hours per week), Fixed-term until 31 July 2027

The Role
E-Assessment plays a crucial part in WJEC’s current and future awarding landscape. The successful candidate will:
- Join an innovative team providing first-line email and telephone support to:
- Schools, colleges, and internal stakeholders
- Handle the creation of user accounts
- Offer administrative support, including:
- Data collation
- Updating user guides
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical support relating to:
- Installation and use of e-Assessment software
- Technical or operational issue resolution
- Collaborate with third-party technology partners

Person Specifications
To excel in this role, you will:
- Demonstrate excellent communication and numeracy skills, including
- Experience dealing with the public via email and telephone
- Exhibit strong organisational skills with the ability to:
- Prioritise workloads
- Work independently or as part of a small team
- Operate under pressure while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines

- Split time between WJEC offices and home
- Business-as-usual requirements
- Occasional in-office attendance
