E-commerce Executive – Remote Role

Role Summary
CVS Veterinary Group is seeking two E-commerce Executives to support the development, delivery, and optimisation of our websites. You’ll collaborate with the E-commerce Trading Manager to drive digital-first strategies, support content development, and enhance digital marketing across CVS Group.
**This role is remote with scheduled travel to CVS sites.
Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Content Coordination
- Develop and execute digital journeys and content strategies for e-commerce websites
- Support the roadmap and content build across CVS e-commerce sites while fostering cross-functional collaboration

Website Development & Maintenance
- Provide project support for continuous website updates, ensuring best-practice compliance and adoption of new technologies to enhance marketing
- Implement structural updates to cross-functional websites and interlinks for improved user experience
- Manage content updates across multiple platforms using various Content Management Systems (CMS)

Audit & Optimization
- Conduct ongoing website and content audits, making recommendations to improve accessibility, usability, and navigation
- Support digital marketing teams to align content roadmaps with stakeholder requirements

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Manage BAU change requests efficiently, fulfilling them within SLAs
- Work with internal teams to generate, maintain, and enhance high-quality content
- Assist the E-commerce Trading Manager in merchandising the site and optimising the sales funnel for higher conversions

Technical & Content Execution
- Upload products to the site and manage attributes
- Ensure consistent quality through proofreading, copy editing, reformatting, and troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of how websites drive customer acquisition, sales, and engagement
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), especially Magento or Adobe Commerce, is advantageous
- Knowledge of HTML, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Experience with web publishing, metadata, SEO, and Google Analytics
- Proven ability in proofreading, copy editing, reformatting, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of sales funnels and optimisation techniques
- Exceptional team player with strong interpersonal skills, proactiveness, and willingness to seek guidance
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy before content goes live
- Self-management skills with the ability to handle workloads under pressure and tight deadlines
