Our client is a growing luxury women's ready-to-wear brand based in London known for its elegant designs and commitment to craftsmanship. As they embark on an exciting journey to expand their direct-to-consumer (DTC) business, they are seeking a dynamic E-commerce Manager to lead this initiative.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, innovative E-commerce Manager to drive online sales growth and enhance digital presence. This role is pivotal in scaling DTC operations and requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and the luxury fashion market.

Responsibilities

  • E-commerce Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and maximize online sales. Develop and implement strategies to establish and enhance the brand's online image.
  • Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform, ensuring an exceptional user experience and seamless transaction process. Coordinate with web developers for site optimization and updates. Oversee and allocate the e-commerce budget, and maintain relationships with external digital marketing agencies.
  • Digital Marketing: Plan and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media initiatives to boost brand visibility and customer engagement. Supervise the production of digital assets, ensuring they align with brand DNA.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track performance metrics, gather insights, and make data-driven decisions. Present regular reports to senior management highlighting growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Experience: Enhance the online customer journey by implementing personalized shopping experiences and exceptional customer service strategies. Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage stock levels, ensuring optimal product availability and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and manage strategic partnerships or collaborations that can enhance brand reach and market presence.

  • 7+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the luxury fashion industry, with a demonstrable history of growing online businesses.
  • Experience in the luxury and/or womenswear sectors.
  • Proficiency in Shopify is required. Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud also desired.
  • Proven track record of driving online sales growth and expanding DTC channels.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing strategies and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  • Creative problem solver with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
