Be one of the first employees at Belfast’s newest stationery brand.
Flo & Dot is opening this summer and we’re looking for someone exceptional.
Part digital marketer. Part content creator. Part retailer. Part entrepreneur.
If you spend more time on TikTok than watching television… If you know what makes content go viral… If you love beautiful design, independent brands and creating engaging social media… …we’d love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to help build a brand from the very beginning.
You’ll be responsible for growing our social media presence, managing our Shopify website, creating engaging content and helping deliver an exceptional customer experience in-store.
We’re not looking for years of experience. We’re looking for creativity, enthusiasm, initiative and someone excited by the idea of building something people will love.
This isn’t a typical retail job. You’ll help grow our online presence, create engaging content, manage our Shopify store and support the day-to-day running of our Belfast store. If you’ve always wanted to build a brand instead of simply working for one, this could be the opportunity you’re looking for. You’ll have genuine responsibility from day one and the chance to shape how Flo & Dot grows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
