E-commerce Operations Manager

E-commerce Operations Manager (Ref: MK47462)

A newly established UK subsidiary of a leading Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting an E-commerce Operations Manager.

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day e-commerce operations, managing Amazon and Shopify platforms, and supporting the launch and growth of the UK and European online business.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on e-commerce experience, particularly with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central and/or Shopify, and be comfortable working in a fast-changing start-up environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the company's day-to-day e-commerce operations
  • Manage and continuously improve Amazon and Shopify platforms
  • Maintain online product listings, content, pricing and marketplace performance
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Support the launch and continued growth of the UK and European online business
  • Undertake a wide variety of evolving responsibilities as the business develops

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 2 years of proven hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central and/or Shopify
  • Strong practical knowledge of e-commerce operations is essential
  • Experience launching, establishing or developing e-commerce operations would be highly advantageous
  • Experience working within a start-up or newly established subsidiary is preferred
  • Business level English is a must, and business level of German and/or French
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership in an evolving environment
  • Able to make informed decisions independently and adapt to changing business needs
  • Flexible, resilient and open to taking on new responsibilities as the business grows
  • Strong team player who is excited to help shape a brand-new office culture

Conditions

  • Location: London (Office location to be confirmed)
  • Working Style: Office Based (*subject to consultation with the employer, there is a possibility that you may work partly from home after further evaluation)
  • Salary: Approximately £35,000 per annum (negotiable, depending on experience)
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm (TBC)
  • Start Date: August or September 2026
  • Benefits: Full benefits package to be confirmed
