About Refined
Refined is a brand-new venture from WeBuyVintage offering curated collections of affordable pre-loved but fine jewellery to the public. Items will range in date from antique to modern and will always be proudly second-hand, bringing their own sense of history, storytelling and uniqueness. During the first phase Refined will be offered as an online store only, but we hope to open our first bricks and mortar store in early 2027.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced e-commerce manager who will be the face of Refined, you will drive the direction and growth of the brand from day one. This will include; managing a small team of assistants, helping choose the right pieces to sell, promoting the stock on a daily basis to social media and beyond, working with our marketing team and others to help strengthen and build the brand one customer at a time, and all whilst offering amazing customer service along the way.
This is a very hands-on job for someone who likes getting stuck in to whatever needs doing with their staff. You will also be instrumental in developing the physical shop during phase two.

- Managing a small team of assistants to oversee the daily running of the business from uploading stock through to processing orders.
- Maintaining relevant records including monitoring and reporting on sales, conversion and trading performance.
- Finding and chasing growth opportunities and reporting back regularly to the WeBuyVintage board.
- Help shape product ranges and merchandising including selecting new stock and help get it ready for sale online.
- Take full ownership of all marketing including: paid digital advertising, email marketing, social media, website, content, PR, copywriting, etc. This may include in-house work and/or working with agencies.
- Work with the business development, marketing and logistics teams at WeBuyVintage to raise brand awareness and ensure Refined gains the right traction to succeed.
- Drive online sales and customer growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey.
- Build relationships with customers and the vintage jewellery community.
- Prepare for the launch and operation of Refined's first physical store.
- Recruit, coach and develop the Refined team.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be great in this role if you have:
- Proven retail experience and a genuine nerdy passion for antique and vintage jewellery. You are not camera shy, love sharing that passion with others and are savvy with the main online selling platforms.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- A proven background in retail management and a strong understanding/experience of the jewellery sector.
- Experience marketing and growing an online business.
- Proficient with Shopify as well as social media sites.
- Your love for vintage and antique jewellery does not have to be professional, but it has to be genuine and extensive.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Desirable:
- Project Management Experience.
- Line management experience.

Compensation & Benefits
- £45,000–£55,000
- Company performance related bonus
