E-commerce Trading Manager

Brighton area | Hybrid working | £38,000-£40,000 + performance related bonus

Ready to take ownership of an international e-commerce platform and help shape the next stage of a growing sports brand?

Zachary Daniels is partnering with a well-established global brand in the sports and performance sector to recruit an ambitious E-commerce Trading Manager.

With a newly appointed E-commerce Director, a fresh strategy and exciting growth plans, this is a brilliant time to join. You'll help shape how customers across the UK, US, Germany and other international markets discover, choose and buy market-leading products online.

The Role:

You'll own the day-to-day trading and performance of the website, turning customer insight and commercial data into actions that increase revenue, conversion and average order value.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning daily website trading and performance
  • Leading merchandising across the homepage, category and product pages
  • Delivering product launches, campaigns and promotions
  • Identifying customer journey and conversion-rate optimisation opportunities
  • Supporting email, SMS, segmentation and retention activity
  • Managing paid search and affiliate performance
  • Monitoring results and producing clear commercial recommendations
  • Working closely with marketing, product, commercial and operations teams

What we're looking for:

You'll have experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, online retail or a direct-to-consumer environment.

You'll be commercially minded, confident with data and excited by the opportunity to make a visible impact. You won't just report the numbers—you'll use them to identify opportunities, solve problems and drive performance.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Strong e-commerce trading or digital marketing experience
  • A commercial and analytical mindset
  • An understanding of paid search, email marketing and customer retention
  • Experience using platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo and Google Analytics 4
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach
