E-Invoicing Functional Business Analyst
Client Location - Europe
Remote Work Offering - 100% Remote
Client Industry - IT Consulting / Digital Tax Compliance
Contract Length - 12 Months (Extension Likely)
Contract Type - Freelance
Project Focus
I'm currently supporting a leading international consultancy delivering large-scale e-Invoicing and digital tax compliance programmes across multiple European countries.
The successful consultant will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring electronic invoicing solutions comply with country-specific legislation while supporting global rollouts and ERP integrations. The role involves:

- Gathering business requirements
- Documenting functional specifications
- Supporting UAT
- Ensuring compliance with evolving e-Invoicing mandates
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Business Analyst
- Strong EDI or e-Invoicing project experience
- Knowledge of PEPPOL, EN16931, CTC, PDP, PPF or other global e-Invoicing frameworks
- Experience gathering business requirements and writing functional specifications
- Process mapping and workshop facilitation
- ERP integration knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
- Experience supporting SIT/UAT
- Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills
- Excellent English communication
