Job Description

An exciting time to join our team as we introduce the E190 into our fleet

Play a pivotal role in delivering high quality training and checking

2-year Fixed Term opportunities based in Perth, Australia (sponsorship & relocation available)

At Network Aviation, we're incredibly proud of our West Australian heritage. We play an important role in connecting communities and industries, operating over 300 weekly flights to destinations throughout WA and beyond. These flights include Fly-in, Fly-out (FIFO) services for the resources industry, corporate charter, routine or emergency freight, as well as regular airline services on behalf of Qantas.

As we enter one of the most significant growth phases in our history and introduce the Embraer E190 into our fleet, we are now accepting expressions of interest from experienced E190 pilots for a range of Training and Checking roles on our E190 fleet, including Training Captain, Check Captain and Simulator Instructor.

These roles sit within our Flight Training and Checking team and play a key part in shaping our safety culture, supporting our pilot group, and ensuring high standards of training and operational excellence across the fleet.

To be considered, you’ll have:

  • ERJ170/190 type rating and Command experience on type
  • Minimum 4000 hours total flying experience
  • Previous experience in training or checking on multi-crew transport category jet aircraft
  • ATPL (A) licence issued by the NAA of an ICAO Contacting State
  • Ability to obtain Australian Certificate of Validation and/or Australian ATPL (A) licence
  • Hold a current aviation medical certificate of the relevant Class and/or meet the requirements for an Australian Class 1 aviation medical certificate
  • Current instrument rating proficiency check
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 (Level 6 preferred)
  • The ability to pass a Qantas pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
  • The ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • A current passport with unrestricted access to all Qantas ports of call with at least 12 months validity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
