E2E Mobile Network Solution Architect
Contract (Outside IR35)
UK (Remote)
We are supporting a major UK telecoms organisation in the search for an experienced End-to-End Mobile Network Solution Architect to lead the design, definition and delivery of complex network transformation initiatives.
This is a strategic architecture role requiring a broad understanding of the mobile network ecosystem. While deep expertise in one domain is valuable, successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to architect, lead and govern solutions spanning multiple network and IT domains.
We are looking for architects who can take ownership of new initiatives from concept through to delivery, providing technical leadership across diverse stakeholder groups and technology areas.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end solution architecture across major mobile network transformation programmes and strategic initiatives.
- Defining solution approaches, architecture roadmaps and delivery strategies for new business and technology requirements.
- Designing and integrating solutions across multiple network and IT domains, ensuring alignment with wider architectural principles and business objectives.
- Providing technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, from initial concept and requirements definition through to deployment and operational handover.
- Producing and reviewing key architecture artefacts including High-Level Designs (HLDs), High-Level Solution Designs (HLSDs), Technical Requirements Specifications (TRS) and governance submissions.
- Leading cross-functional workshops and driving alignment across engineering, operations, IT, architecture and delivery teams.
- Identifying and resolving complex cross-domain technical challenges and dependencies.
- Supporting technical governance, architecture review boards and approval processes.
- Ensuring solutions are scalable, supportable, secure and aligned with operational requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
