EA and PA Team Manager

Permanent Business Support Director – Redgate

Location: Cambridge In-office expectation: Once per week


About This Role

This senior leadership role leads a team that impacts every aspect of Redgate—from executive operations to culture, community, and AI strategy.

You’ll take ownership of four key areas and drive growth through people leadership, AI adoption, strategic partnerships, and ESG/community initiatives, while shaping the business support function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership Development & Delivery

    • Lead and develop a global Business Support team, ensuring delivery is enabled through empowered ownership rather than top-down micromanagement.
    • Foster an environment where team members grow and thrive.
  • Executive Partnerships & Strategic Alignment

    • Build strong relationships with the exec team to ensure business support aligns with organisational UK and US priorities.
    • Collaborate with the People Team to integrate relevant initiatives.

  • AI & Automation Adoption

    • Oversee the team’s adoption of AI and automation, innovating processes and improving workflow efficiency.
    • Serve as a key operational partner for exec-driven AI initiatives.
  • Cultural & Community Leadership

    • Lead company-wide culture and community programmes (including the Davidson Awards, FGF events, and GSB charitable giving).
    • Support ESG targets and contribute to a positive organisational culture.
  • Business Travel & Operations Governance

    • Own and manage business travel policies, processes, and operations—securing day-to-day functionality while advocating improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on ownership through others, not individual autonomy.
  • Senior stakeholder experience (minimum exec/flat-layer level), including working with high-discretion environments with strong professionalism.
  • Experience delivering large-scale events or programmes, measurable budgets, and cross-operational transformation.
  • Operational change & process-improvement expertise, grounded in a commercial mindset that ties outputs to broader business goals.
  • Confidence applying AI tools innovatively in business support or operational functions.

What You’ll Get

  • Salary: £55,000 – £65,000
