An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Transformation & Asset Management Lead to join our Engineering Team.
This is a fixed-term role for 2 years, created to lead the definition, design, implementation and organisational adoption of a new EAM solution for the RNLI.
The postholder will act as the organisational lead for asset management transformation, shaping business requirements, future processes, data standards and ways of working while maintaining effective oversight of current asset management operations during the transition.

Your Role
As EAM Transformation & Asset Management Lead you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:
- Lead the RNLI’s Enterprise Asset Management transformation and future asset management strategy.
- Design and implement the target operating model, processes, governance and data standards for EAM.
- Continue to enable the organisation to operate a complex asset management ecosystem in the interim.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, change adoption and benefits realisation across the organisation.
- Ensure asset investment, lifecycle planning and deployment decisions maximise value, performance and operational readiness.

About You
You’ll be a credible leader that is delivery focused and thrives in complex transformation roles, with the ability to bridge strategy, operations and technology.
To Be Considered For The Role You Will Need
- Degree standard or equivalent in Engineering, Asset Management, Business Change or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in asset management, enterprise asset management systems, or ERP-enabled transformation in a complex operational environment.
- Proven experience leading system-driven business change, including requirements definition, process design, implementation support and adoption activity.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, asset data, governance and performance reporting.
- Experience working with or implementing EAM platforms such as Maximo, IFS, Ultimo, SAP or similar enterprise systems.
- Demonstrable success in stakeholder management, influencing cross-functional teams and leading change in complex organisational settings.
- Experience of improving data quality, supporting data migration, and embedding governance and controls for enterprise systems.
- Strong communication, facilitation and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical and process issues into clear business decisions and actions.
- Ability to balance transformation delivery with operational continuity, ensuring business needs remain supported during periods of change.
