Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an EAP Therapist at MantraCare. The therapist will provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and psychosocial support to employees referred through employer-sponsored programs, using secure virtual channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting intake assessments
  • Developing brief treatment plans
  • Delivering individual sessions
  • Coordinating care with MantraCare’s AI-driven tools and clinical protocols
  • Documenting sessions in line with organizational standards
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team as needed
  • Identifying high-risk situations
  • Making appropriate referrals to higher levels of care
  • Contributing feedback to improve MantraCare’s digital mental health offerings

Qualifications

  • Clinical counseling and psychotherapy skills, including experience in brief, solution-focused, or EAP-oriented interventions
  • Strong assessment, risk evaluation, and crisis management capabilities, with the ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent situations
  • High proficiency using telehealth platforms and digital tools, and comfort working within an AI-supported clinical environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, cultural humility, and the ability to build rapport with diverse employee populations
  • Current licensure or certification as a mental health professional (e.g., psychologist, counselor, social worker, psychotherapist) in relevant jurisdiction
  • Experience in employee assistance programs, workplace mental health, or occupational stress management is highly beneficial
  • Strong documentation skills and familiarity with privacy, data protection, and ethical standards in digital mental health
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage a part-time caseload, and adapt to evolving clinical and technology workflows
