The Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll play a key leadership role in creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for young children. You’ll:
- Design and deliver a curriculum that promotes early learning, development, and wellbeing
- Lead and mentor a team of educators in applying best practices in early childhood education
- Foster strong partnerships with families and the broader community
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children
We're seeking someone who is passionate about inspiring young minds and committed to creating positive, engaging learning experiences.
What You’ll Bring
- An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification (mandatory)
- Registered with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI)
- A minimum of three years’ experience in an early childhood education setting
- Registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and Education and Care professional standards
- A collaborative, reflective approach to working with teams
- Foundations of Child Safety Training Certificate (mandatory)
- Current Paid ACT Working With Vulnerable People card (WWVP) (mandatory)
- First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
