Early Help Team Manager (Maternity cover)
Band: PO6 Salary: £56,436 per annum, rising to £59,574 per annum with annual increments, inclusive of London Weighting Contract: Fixed Term/Secondment until 30 July 2027

About the Early Help Team
The Early Help Team supports families to prevent escalation of issues, improving outcomes and reducing reliance on high-cost services. Collaborating with Children Social Care, external partners, and community services, their approach involves:
- Assessing families in need
- Developing supportive plans
- Reviewing progress every 6 weeks

About the Role
The Early Help Team Manager is responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside the Service Manager to quality assure, set standards, drive operational performance, and refine best practice within children’s support services.
- Managing a team of Early Help Practitioners while contributing to a managerial triage system to referrals, directing families to the most appropriate support pathway (e.g., signposting or assessment).
- Contributing to service transformation, collaborating with the management group to shape the future service design as part of organisational developments.
