Full time - 37 hours a week

About the Role

Are you passionate about preventing homelessness and making a real difference to residents at the earliest opportunity?

Rugby Borough Council is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Early Intervention & Homelessness Supervisor to join our Housing Advice and Enabling Team at an exciting time of transformation and service improvement.

Working alongside a dedicated team, you will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and quality assurance, helping to drive a culture focused on early intervention, prevention and excellent customer outcomes.

Our service has achieved some of its strongest homelessness prevention outcomes in recent years, and we are continuing to develop innovative approaches to reduce homelessness, improve customer experience and strengthen partnership working across the borough.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced homelessness professional looking to take the next step in their career and help shape the future of homelessness prevention services in Rugby.

About You

You’ll have demonstrable experience delivering housing advice, homelessness prevention and statutory homelessness functions within a local authority or similar environment with experience of supervising, coaching, mentoring or supporting staff within a housing, homelessness or related customer-focused service.

You’ll have an ability to work in partnership, develop networks, influence outcomes, problem solve, overcome barriers and apply solution-focused approaches.

A Full Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential for the role.
