Early Years Administrator

Early Years Administrator – Livingston

Salary: £28,995.20 FTE per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) Location: Livingston Hours: 25 hrs

We seek an Early Years Administrator to join our Livingston nursery, where you can make a genuine difference while thriving in a supportive, values-driven environment.


About the Role

As an Early Years Administrator, your role will focus on enhancing parent engagement and operational efficiency. You’ll:

  • Lead parent outreach initiatives, including new nursery placements, extra sessions, and booking changes
  • Support tailoring financial solutions for parents through invoice processing, payments, funding administration, and payment plan coordination
  • Manage monthly invoice runs, invoice debt, and related financial tasks
  • Assist the nursery manager with ad hoc administrative duties and reports

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in an administrative role, preferably within early years or childcare sectors
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional customer service with confidence in resolving parent queries
    • Strong ability to make independent decisions while maintaining professionalism
    • Robust organisational skills to manage fast-paced environments and deadlines
    • Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry
  • Personality:
    • Strong communication skills (interacting with parents, children, and colleagues)
    • Team player aligned with our HEART values
    • Detail-oriented but flexible to support ad hoc demands
