Early Years Apprentice – Little Acorns Day Nursery (Stoneygate)

About the Role

Join our supportive, child-focused nursery at Little Acorns Day Nursery in Stoneygate, part of Grandir UK. As an Early Years Apprentice, you’ll play a vital role in caring for, supporting, and inspiring young children—helping them thrive while gaining hands-on experience towards your Early Years qualification.

Training salary: £8.00–£8.40 per hour Flexible working. Genuine career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure children’s individual needs are identified and met.
  • Supervise and care for children throughout all nursery activities.
  • Perform interactive tasks including:
    • Reading stories
    • Assisting at mealtimes
    • Playing games and activities
    • Changing nappies (if required).
  • Act as a positive role model for the children.
  • Build professional relationships with staff and parents.
  • Follow strict Safeguarding Procedures.
  • Work towards your Early Years qualification in a supportive environment.
