Early Years Apprentice
This role is ideal for someone looking to train in childcare and gain valuable experience.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and train in childcare.
- Ability to work and interact directly with children on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the planning of and delivery of activities.
- Contributing to a high-quality, caring environment for children.
- Creating a warm, friendly, and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially, and educationally.
- Providing all aspects of care for children, including washing, changing, and feeding, under supervision.
- Acting as key worker to a small group of children, including recording observations and planning for them.
- Assisting with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children.
- Completing work to the desired timeframe for Showcase Training tutor.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Being aware of and ensuring adherence to the nursery's policies and procedures.
