Our Pepy's Road Dicky Bird Day Nursery in Raynes Park is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting, and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity, and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery

Our Team & Parent Partnerships

Our dedicated team combines experience with fresh ideas, supported by ongoing training. We build strong relationships with families through events, stay-and-play sessions, a lending library, home activity packs, and regular updates via the Famly app.

Facilities

Age-specific rooms (baby, toddler, preschool) provide safe, nurturing spaces that support development, independence, and school readiness, alongside a garden for outdoor play and social skill building.

Location and Travel

Located in the heart of Muswell Hill just off Fortis Green, our nursery is close to East Finchley Station and within walking distance of local primary schools—ideal for both local families and commuters.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Ensure that the children’s individual needs are identified and met
  • Supervise and support the children at all times
  • Carry out a wide range of interactive tasks including reading stories, helping at mealtimes, playing games, and changing nappies
  • Act as a positive, practical role model for the children
  • Develop friendly, professional relationships with staff members and parents
  • Ensure you fully understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures
  • Work towards gaining your Early Years qualification in a supportive and professional environment with hands-on experience
